We heard the house league post season survey results and are pleased to let you know that for this year’s indoor league the players will only be playing games ( no more drills). If you are interested in skills training stay tuned for registration details about our Cavan FC Performance Training Institute program which will be coming soon.
Indoor League Details
- 18 weeks
- For youth players (2012-2020), teens (2009-2011), adults (2005+) and senior (1985+)
- Saturday October 19, 2024 – Sunday March 9, 2025 (No games December 7, 2024, December 20, 2024 to January 3, 2025 and February 2, 2025
- U6 is a mixed girls/boys division
- U8 – U13 are girls only and boys only teams/divisions ( see Division details below )
- Mixed Teens are girls and boys combined teams with equal # of girls/boys per team
- Mixed Adults and Mixed Seniors are women & men combined teams with equal # of women/men per team
- U6 – U8 are 40 minute games (2×20 min.) | All other divisions are 50 minute games (2×25 min.)
- U6 – 5v5
- U8 – 5v5
- U10 – 7v7
- U13 – 7v7
- Mixed Teens – 7v7
- Mixed Adults – 7v7
- Mixed Senior – 7v7 (pick up style)
- Cost per player – U6-U8 $195 | U10 – Teens $220 | Adult $250 | Senior $195 (fee includes indoor soccer jersey)
- All games (with exception of Senior 40+ division) officiated by an Ontario Soccer certified Match Official
- MLCFC reserves the right to combine age groups and genders based on registration numbers
- MLCFC reserves the right to move players up to week #3 to balance teams if necessary

**For Safety reasons – Only Indoor Turf or Running shoes are permitted on the turf at the arena. NO cleats**

Rowan’s Law
On July 1, 2019, new rules came into effect in Ontario through Rowan’s Law to improve concussion safety in amateur competitive sport. Maple Leaf Cavan FC is advising its athletes under 26 years of age, parents of athletes under 18, coaches, team trainers and officials that they must comply with Rowan’s Law and are required to, as a precondition to participation:
- Review any one of Ontario’s official Concussion Awareness Resources before registering a player, participating or serving with MLCFC; and
- review MLCFC’s Concussion Code of Conduct for athletes and parents/guardians
PLEASE NOTE: In order for your registration to be accepted the above steps must be taken. You will be prompted on the registration form to confirm you have done so.
